Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, known as the "City of Lakes" reflects the true combination of the scenic beauty of historical and contemporary urban planning. Bhopal presents a multifaceted profile; the old city with its teeming marketplaces and fine old mosques and palaces and the new city with its modern edifices. It is located in the north-western part of the state of Madhya Pradesh, in the central region of India. Bhopal City is very well connected via railway, road, and air transportation services. Bhopal has a domestic/international airport with good amenities that connects it directly to Delhi, Mumbai, Indore, Ahmadabad, and Hyderabad. The institute is about 9 km from Bhopal railway station, 07 km from Ranikamlapati railway station, and 18km from Bhopal airport. The weather condition is pleasant during December.


The 2nd Vision Zero Summit ,International Conference on Urban Resilience & safety mobility , is an important gathering of policymakers, experts, academicians, and stakeholders focused on addressing the issue of Urban Resilience & safe mobility in India. The conference aims to develop strategies and solutions to maintain continuity, adapt, and transform in the face of shocks and stresses, such as natural disasters, economic downturns, and social challenges. About the Institute

 

Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) is one of the leading institutions of national importance in technical education. Established with the objective of developing a ‘Centre of Excellence in Central India, it aims at becoming a multi-disciplinary center for technical education by strengthening both teaching and research activities besides contributing to the needs of rural community, society and industry at large. The Institute is located on a plateau of about 650 acres in the midst of Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. The Institute, formerly known as Maulana Azad College of Technology, was established in 1960 as one of the first eight Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs) in the country. In June 2002, it was elevated to the status of a Deemed University and renamed as Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology and achieved the status of ‘Institution of National Importance’ by the Parliamentary NITSER Act 2007.
